Sources & licensing

Fleyra combines independent data sources. Each has its own licence, coverage and freshness. A source only feeds the public map once its terms permit it; until then it is shown here as not enabled or awaiting approval.

Our data principles

  • We never invent aircraft, vessels, satellite tracks, routes, arrival times or counters.
  • Where a source has no coverage, we say so instead of showing an empty sky or ocean.
  • Satellite positions are mathematical predictions from public orbital elements, always labelled as such.
  • Sources without confirmed permission stay disabled on public deployments.
